The role
As a Project Manager you will strengthen our R&D organization within Access Control and Intercom.You will lead product development projects ranging all the way from idea, through conceptual design, execution phase, industrialization and finally volume production.
The projects include development of electronics, mechanics and software as well as a wide range of competence areas such as quality assurance, industrial design, production tests, industrialization and regulatory approvals.
You will be responsible for the delivery of the entire product project. At the same time, you engage and interact with all project members to understand their challenges and support in the best way.
Apart from leading product projects, you will be actively involved in driving the technology initiatives, way of working and strategy within the department together with your peer project managers and line managers of Access Control Solution.
In this role you will be reporting to the Director of Access Control Solution.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
* Handle day-to-day project management activities like planning, risk mitigation, information, and follow up of project progress
* Lead, engage and motivate the project team towards successful goal completion
* Actively look for solutions and drive decision making of the project
* Proactively and openly communicate project status as well as ask for support when needed.
* Work with the product owner to refine product ideas and requirements
* Engage in and drive our way of working activities and strategic initiatives together with peer colleges of the department.

Except from above you have ;
* Experience from managing product development projects. It is considered a bonus if previous experiences involve a mix of software, electronics, and mechanics.
* Have an educational background in engineering, preferably with a master's degree in relevant subject.
* You communicate easily in both Swedish and English, verbally and written.
