hela Sverige Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Project Manager, Cylindrical Cells, to join our passionate team in Västerås.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
The purpose of this role is to support the creation of a management system for the cylindrical cell leadership team.
This includes establishing a "drumbeat" of meetings, KPIs, and ways of working. This role requires close collaboration (and constant co-location) with the cylindrical leadership team.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the leadership team, especially the Director of Cylindrical in prioritization, meeting scheduling, and optimizing leadership impact to team
- Help prepare regular/adhoc meetings with Northvolt ExCo team, incl. structuring dummy deck and storyline, collecting data and iterating with key stakeholders
- Support the Leadership team with adhoc/one-off projects/strategic tasks, e.g., business cases, risk assessments, strategic scenarios simulation to support decision making
- Increase team effectivity through enabling better collaboration, communication, organization, and discipline, e.g.:
- Drive the implementation of new "management system" for cylindrical team including key meetings and decision making forums
- Create and maintain a method of action item & follow up, record, and deliver actions for all key forums with leadership
- Create and maintain key "channels" of communication including Org Chart, Teams channels, and Confluence/JIRA usage
- Follow up and arrange external communications to suppliers such as equipment vendors, battery research partners and others

Education/Experience
- M.Sc. or equivalent from Top Engineering or Business school
- 2-3 years working experience from 1st tier Strategy Consulting company or similarly demanding analytical environment (e.g., PE or M&A)
- Experience from a multi-cultural environment is a plus
- Fluency in English
Specific Skills/Abilities
- Strong problem solving and skills in analytical modeling (Excel mainly) and presentation skills
- Basic Project Management skills, incl. rigour, crisp communication
- Experience in Confluence is preferred but not required
