Your role
You will lead the work within the Outfitting area and be responsible for delivering according to expectations that is the area's deliveries to some of the major development projects within Kockums. You will have vast interaction with other project managers, section managers and your project team members. You report to the Head of Outfitting within Engineering (R&D).
Main tasks:
* Carry out the project and reach its result within the framework of the Project Directive and Project Plan
* Identify and introduce improvements to the working method
* Adapt and follow the project management process within Saab.
Your profile
We are looking for a person who like to motivate, coach and develop your team members in their daily work. You know how to get people to perform their very best and can handle stakeholders on all levels within and outside the company. To succeed you need the ability to cooperate and navigate in an organization developing and maintaining advanced products.
Required skills:
* A few years' experience in a similar role
* Proven leadership skills
* Project Management
* Project Scope, Time and Cost Management
* Engineering processes, tools and methods
* Open minded and with a great interest in solving problems
* Excellent communication skill in English and Swedish
Desired skills:
* Generic business understanding
* Commercial terms and their aspects on the project
* Project Management certification
A few travelling days per year, mostly within Sweden, is part of the job.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

The R&D organization develop, integrate and verify new Naval ships and submarines as well as continuous upgrade and maintenance for Swedish and foreign navies.
