As a project manager, you will coordinate internal and external contacts and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered in timely fashion and produce the desired results. You will be the key contact of the costumers and external vendors. With experience in organizational change, you will operate and inspire your colleagues to achieve the goals of the company. You will be the go-to person for all matters involving the project's organization, execution and timeline. The position is placed in Stockholm and you will be report directly to the Global Engineering Manager.
Main tasks
• Coordinating customers, internal resources and vendors for the projects
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring commercial and technical feasibility
• Develop a detailed project plan and track its progress
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Manage the relationship with the client, third parties/vendors and all stakeholders
• Lead teams to resolve issues in an effective way
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Report and escalate to management as needed
Your qualifications
• University educational background in engineering or similar
• Working experience as a project administrator/project manager, in the manufacturing sector
• Technical experience in product development in the manufacturing sector
• Experience in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis
• Experience in making essential organizational changes of process and way of working and implementing them will be valued
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Project
• Fluent in English
• PMP/PRINCE II certification is valued
Desirable skills
You should be a clear communicator with both clients and colleagues and have a high attention to details and good multi-tasking skills. You are comfortable managing multiple work streams and handle stressful situations with resilience and professionalism. You are also a team player with high work ethic and have a problem-solving attitude. You are confident when working with organisational change management that comes with the implementation of new ways of working.
