If you are up for a challenge and want to work with prestigious projects, with opportunities to control and plan your working hours, then you should become our new Project Manager.You will be part of Process Industries, a business unit within ABB's Industrial Automation division. The unit delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services to clients in mining, pulp & paper, metals. The business's added value is deep industry expertise coupled with the ability to integrate both electrical and automation, resulting in faster start-up times, increased plant productivity and reduced overall capex and opex spend for customers. We are about 90 employees in Västerås. Our projects vary in size from smaller spare parts orders and refurbishments to major international projects that extend for several years in time.TasksYour main task will be delivery of mining and automation systems to customers primarily in Russian-speaking countries. The delivery content can be a combination of switchgear, control systems, software, drive systems, motors, mechanical equipment, installation and commissioning.In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the project group to set goals. As our representative, you will participate in procurement of equipment and contractors, as well as have commercial responsibility when representing ABB in various projects. In short, you will have full responsibility for projects content, finances and timetable, within the given framework with allocated resources.RequirementsTo succeed in the role, you have a minimum of 3 years of higher technical education, combined with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Since you will work with projects in Russian-speaking countries, Russian language skills, spoken and written is a requirement, and you are preferred to have experience with the Russian business culture. In addition, proficiency in Swedish and English, written and spoken alike, is a requirement.Today, you might already work in project management or as a delivery manager in a company that supplies technical equipment to the industry. It is qualifying if you have some years' of experience as a commercially responsible project manager of technical equipment for industrial customers, preferably internationally.As a representative for ABB, you must be customer focused and ensure that we deliver according to their expectations.
