What you'll do?As a Veoneer Project Manager you are accountable for coordinating and steering a part of a customer project at our site In Linköping. You will work in close corporation with a Customer Project Manager who will be overall accountable for the Customer Project and you will be the customers voice in Linköping. Your responsibility as project manager is to make sure that the personnel working in the project is motivated and well informed, that the project plans are up to date and followed, that the project follows Veoneer processes and that the customer expectations is propagated to the project members. You will also be the main point of contact for any issues related to the Linköping part of the project.
You will be a part of Veoneer's team of project managers and will report to the Vision Project Portfolio Manager in Linköping. The projects we are accountable for within the Vison Project Portfolio in Linköping are international and normally spans over two to three years. Your work will be both strategic and operational which will put your prioritization skill to an edge. You have the ability to motivate your team members who are operational in a complex project environment. To take on a leading role in this pioneering technology development it is also important to understand the complexity of working with systems of system. You will also be expected to take an active part in our continues improvement program mainly to improve the processes, methods and tools for managing a project in an efficient and effective way.
What you'll bring?To succeed in this role you have:
• Master of Science in a relevant area
• At least three years of experience as project manager
• Experience in managing complex projects in a multi team environment
• Many years of experience from development of embedded systems
• Experience of working with subcontractors
• Experience in meeting and handle customers
This position requires good leadership skills, experience in leading other leaders we see as a merit. You are clear in your communications as well as having the ability to make decisions. You can take challenging discussions while maintaining good relationships with people in your environment. You are used to not only pushing your own work forward but also selling in and anchoring your agenda in a stressful environment. You are responsive and outwards and have very good knowledge in English. Experience from the automotive industry we see as a merit.
