What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Communication Solutions is responsible for the design of technical and robust solutions and infrastructure utilizing networks, radio, and sattelite communication technologies. We design and implement systems in airborne and land based platforms. We are a team of 55 people, headed from Arboga, with operartions in both Järfälla and Linköping.
Your role
As Project Manager in Communication Solutions you will be responsible for project deliverance with high quality, on time and within budget. We have high demanding customers and always do our outmost to live upp to our commitments. The Project Manager plays a paramount part in achieving this goal.You will lead the project from start-up to completion and may need to handle both external subcontractors, internal subcontractors as well as the end customer. You report to a project owner and also have a steering group at your disposal througout the duration of the Project.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a team player with a strong focus on collaboration, communication and leadership to make the project team successful in the delivery to the end customer. You have at least five years of experience as a Project Manager for large-scale technical projects (50 MSEK). Experience from telecommunication is desirable. To be successfull you need exellent English skills, speech and writing.You have a relevant Masters degree from University and the experience to back it up.
The job includes access to classified information and all selected candidates must undergo a security clearance performed by the government prior to employment.
