The PMO has the responsibility to define and refine all incoming orders to Feature, Verification & Validation, and are also managing several important functions like co-ordination of test objects, portfolio management and overall project budget. To act as a Steering Committee representative is also a natural part of the PMO responsibility. Function description for FVV PM: PM within Features, Verification & Validation in all matters related to portfolio management and steering group representative in small, medium and large size projects.
FVV PM responsibilities:
• Manage FVV project budget portfolios
• Represent Features, Verification & Validation in project management teams
• Lead the project team within Features, Verification & Validation
• Develop a verification and validation plan from the end customer's point of view
• Secure the project budget
• Report project status prior to each project gate.
