This is an exciting time to join CBRE GWS and be a part of our project team, new business with new opportunities together with our customers is in big demand.
The Project team have its position based in Stockholm, Solna but you will be working with our many clients in major Swedish cities and sometimes also support our Nordic projects team. Business trips inside Sweden will be expected in this position. Also project support to the Nordic project team is a part of this organization.
As a Project Manager you are responsible to deliver your projects inside the agreed budget and timeframe.
The Job
• The position is based in Stockholm, Solna
• Willingness to travel and have a personal situation that allows you to manage projects outside the Stockholm area
• Business trips inside and as well outside Sweden should be expected
• Client facing ? develop and deliver the projects in close cooperation with the clients specialists and program manager
• Business responsible
• Developing project proposals on your own, with consultants and sometimes with the integrated FM operations
• Delivering projects from 50k$ to 1M$ - Technical Projects, Offices Re-Build, Moves, Workplaces up fit, Datacenters etc.
• Contracting and negotiating with suppliers
• Reporting, budgeting (own P&L), follow-up on projects and finances
• Works with customers to develop and deliver projects that best serve their needs
• Acts as a client representative for all aspects of the project
• Serves as a liaison between CBRE and 3rd party suppliers to ensure successful delivery of the project
Desired Skills and Experience Skills/Qualifications
• 2+ years of project and construction management experience
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified in project management preferred (e.g. Prince2, PMI), but not required
• Strong verbal and written English communication (besides native language)
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Projects
• Experience in the construction business (i.e. Office refurbishment, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, DRUPS/UPS,)
• Experience in contract management (National general terms for the industries), negotiation, contracting
• High Commercial awareness and customer focus
• Previous experience in managing budgets (P&L responsibility)
• Knowledge of general industry terms and conditions
• Process oriented and structured working style plus capable of handling multiple projects at the same time
• Commercial knowledge about the real estate business
• Driver's license is necessary for this position
