We are now looking for a Project Manager within R&D, in Halmstad.

Key performance areas
As a Project Manager within R&D you will lead the development of our new and existing products for metal cutting. Our products are created in teams with participants from product management, marketing, production and development. The team is responsible for the whole chain, from idea to launched product, and is a vital part in ensuring our customers' future success. Within the team, you are responsible for running the product/knowledge projects.

In this position you will:
• Manage our product and knowledge development projects in accordance with our standard procedures
• Organize projects and distribute the responsibility and work within the team
• Document work progress and report back to steering groups
• Build networks with production units, sales units, customers and universities
• Work more directly with product and/or knowledge development depending on your background

The position involves some traveling (1-5 weeks/year).

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering and a few years of relevant work experience. Experience from metal cutting, product development and leading projects is advantageous. As the work involves frequent international contacts, English is required.

As a person you are committed and have a structured and analytical way of working. You have strong quality consciousness and the ambition to deliver results. Since our projects involve different parts of the organization, there are many stakeholders involved, and you need to have the ability to coordinate among them. You also have a relaxed manner of communicating with peers on all levels, and are interested in motivating people. Further, to be successful in this role you must be open to change and enthusiastic about being involved in and influencing the department's development. It is also very important that you are flexible and have the ability to take initiative.
