Challenges
As a project manager within the QlikTech R&D project office you are on a daily basis faced with a multitude of challenges from an organization, in hyper-growth mode, executing on its thought leadership within Business Discovery while staying ahead of competition. This often means being an apt impediment remover interfacing the surrounding organization paving the way for development teams to execute with optimal efficiency.
As a project manager executing on a firm belief in Lean and Agile principles you will lead one or multiple cross disciplined teams towards successful delivery on given commitments. You will be an instrumental part of driving and facilitating the continuous learning and improvement of our processes based on your understanding of principles combined with observed system behavior.
As a member of the Project Office team you will get support but also be challenged by your peer project managers to contribute to the constant evolvement of the project management profession within QlikTech R&D.
Responsibilities
Lead all phases of development and service release projects further expanding and enhancing the QlikView product suite.
Lead Enterprise Customer support projects in tight cooperation with QlikTech Support
Interface with QlikTech Support when they have advanced support questions
Be an active member of the Project Office team contributing to the continuous improvement and evolvement of the project office charter implementation
Occasional travelling may be required
Skills
At least 5 years hands on project management experience in an international software development environment
Firm understanding of the founding principles of Lean and Agile software development and at least 2 years of hands on experience thereof
Proven track record of leading successful project teams using strong leadership skills and a business oriented approach
Performance orientation with a strong drive and natural ability to coach and motivate project teams
Natural facilitator with strong ability to get cross disciplined teams to commit to a common goal
Strong sense of commitment and accountability naturally extending to project teams
Experience working with outsourcing partners and 3:rd party vendors
Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
Education
Bachelor degree or higher in relevant domain
Formal project management education
