Do you want the possibility to work in a dynamic and challenging work environment where you will have a broad network with customers and colleagues around the world? Then the position as Project Manager within Global Projects at Tetra Pak Processing Systems AB could be something for you. Your role and responsibility as Project Manager is to drive large projects in the Implementation phase and also to support in the Sales phase. The value of the projects is normally 5-30 million ?. Our projects are run together with colleagues in the Market Companies. The position is based in Lund with approximately 35% of travelling.
In the Global Project Management team our role is to, in a seamless and transparent co-operation with the Market companies, sell and deliver major food plant projects. We act as a competence centre for Project Management resources. In the company there are also Engineering, Automation and Commissioning competences.
Main responsibilities
• Fulfil customer expectations and perform implementation of the project together with a dedicated team
• Drive and manage the project team in order to meet the scope, time and budget in the project
• Follow and review the implementation according to the Company Management System
• Work closely with the Market companies according to project specific agreement
• Monitor and report the budget, progress and cost status to the Project Board
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly influencing skills and the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels. You have a strong drive for results, don't hesitate to take decisions when it's needed and have a structured way of working. Furthermore you have the ability to motivate others, believe problems are there to be solved and possess a high level of negotiation skills.
The successful candidate has relevant high school education combined with technical skills. We put emphasize on your experience which we believe you have obtained by running projects in a leading position. Knowledge in budgeting cost estimation and of the food process industry is an advantage. As you will work in an international environment it is important that you have a good command of English both written and spoken.
