hela Sverige On behalf of our client, ABB Powers Systems, Adecco is searching for a Project Manager. Are you interested in working with project management in an international environment? Do you enjoy being surrounded by sophisticated and pioneering technical solutions? As Project Manager at ABB Substations you will have extensive contact with clients and subcontractors when you, as head of the project team, plan and execute the tasks at hand.
At Substations we have approximately 60 projects between 40 to 500 MSEK across the world. As Project Manager with us you will be responsible for one or more projects. You will take full responsibility for the project in accordance with time, quality and cost requirements. The projects will be organised through a project group including System, Electrical, and Mechanical Design and Field Operations.
The requirements: In order to be successful in this position you need a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering coupled with a few years? experience of working within the field of Electrical Power Technology. To be successful in this role you must be fluent in English, in writing as well as in speech. Any experience from our sector specifically will be counted to your advantage, as will additional language skills such as Russian. As a person you need strong leadership and communication skills that enable you to collaborate successfully with colleagues and stakeholders alike. You have a business mind and are interested in commercial matters. You have a holistic view and focus on result.
You will be part of ABB Substations in Västerås. Substations - within Power Systems - are responsible for marketing, development, sales and delivery of transmission and distribution systems. Our customers are mainly based in Northern Europe, Russia and the CIS countries, although our products are delivered to the entire world. We deliver distribution plants and relay protection, which are delivered to a range of customer segments. We also offer solutions for wind power, indoors stations and power connectors for ships. The unit is a Centre of Competence within ABB for electrical power solutions and deliver ready to use solution to a range of power stations. The Substation Unit also offers after market support for AIS and for GIS distribution plants where the content is designed for each single customer. At the unit we are 250 co-workers.
