The department Vehicle Service Information (YS) plays a central role in this journey by providing the information, tools and systems needed to maintain, diagnose, repair and upgrade the transport solutions in a qualitative and cost-effective manner.
Your tasks
YS plays a key role in product development by ensuring and guiding designers to ensure our solutions work optimally in the workshops around the world. When the solutions are optimized the YS factory start the work to create, illustrate, write, translate, program, predict and maintain the Vehicle Service Information.
As a Project Manager, you will make sure make sure that all this works smoothly and eliminate waste and delay. You will be the lubrication that keeps the YS factory functioning at its very best. You will coordinate the different line organisations within YS and other Scania departments, why your negotiation skills will be very important.
We are passionate about our systems and constantly seek to upgrade and streamline to be able to deliver better quality to our customers. Some changes are large and complicated and require help from the project office, so for this role it is also beneficial to have an eye for processes, a sense for systems and preferably experience from working at Scania before.
We collaborate with other brands in the TRATON group so for such tasks it is advantageous if you have cross cultural awareness and some cultural curiosity and are used to working in both European and non-European cultures.
Your profile
You have an engineering degree or similar and speak both English and Swedish.
In addition, knowledge and experience in the following fields are a plus:
• Product development and Scania's product development processes
• Used to working in a Lean-Agile and/or SAFe environment
As a person, you are structured, communicative and service-minded. You have a proven track record of drive and teamwork, but are still able to work independently when needed. You are good at leading other people and have previous leadership experience.
