We work alongside our customers to build a new generation of devices and systems - we modernize and build new products, machines, and digital solutions in both Sweden and all around the world. Our customers are ranging from promising start-ups that need a team to develop their very first product or prototype to global companies in MedTech, industry, energy, moving machines and telecom sectors. Their base is very diverse, thus, the operating models and methods in our projects vary as well. The duration of our projects is often calculated in months - although delivery and product development projects can also be longer.
In your role, you are responsiblefor leading interdisciplinary teams in different fields of technologies and industry. This diverse role and our extremely diverse clients offer you a wide range of opportunities for self-realization and development. It is possible for you to work based on your own strengths as we strive to consider your wishes regarding projects and your daily work. The preferred location for this position is Uppsala.
The Uppsala office has a cross functional team with engineers within mechanics, electronics, embedded SW, AI/ML/Computer vision, battery technology and technical information. Many of our projects are performed inhouse with both local and global customers and the main industries are life science, IoT, green tech and electrification.

To succeed in this role, you have a solid experience in project management and as a team leader. You are solution oriented, organized and take responsibility. Since your role includes quite some customer contact you need to be a skilled communicator with a professional attitude. We see that managing the dialog with stakeholders is something that comes natural to you.
Additionally, you embody good analytical skills and preferably hold an M.Sc. degree in an engineering discipline or a similar applicable area. We like to see that you have experience with product development and know how to turn an idea into a prototype and a prototype into a finished product. The classical toll-gate project model is something you know in and out. If you have experience as a software developer yourself and have led agile/scrum teams that is definitely a bonus. The same is true if you have experience with MedTech standards, their impact on the development process and have worked with QMS in regulated environments.
You are also fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish. As a senior co-worker you also find it inspiring to guide less experienced colleagues to grow!
In addition to sufficient experience, you will ensure your success with your proactive, self-guided and systematic approach towards your work. You know how to find solutions and overcome challenges. You are a team player with a customer-oriented approach. At the same time, you don't have to be an expert in everything, the Etteplan team is there to support you!
