Who you are
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to support Ingka Group on the journey of reducing our emissions from own operations. Over the course of the coming years our ambition is to transform a large share of our units to renewable heating and cooling, one of the main initiatives in securing our progress towards our long-term sustainability commitments.
The foundation of your career is either in Project Management, Construction or Facility Management with experience from leading multi-site projects in an international environment. You have previously held positions with proven leadership of cross-functional teams and have delivered projects from pre-study to handover, involving feasibility studies, business case preparation and presentation, planning, execution and follow-up. You are motivated by leading and having an impact on people and planet and you have a solid foundation in managing complex projects in a vast stakeholder landscape.
You should be;
• Motivated by contributing to our long-term sustainability goals and act as an ambassador for sustainable Real Estate
• Comfortable in taking ownership of and responsibility for driving the Renewable Heating and Cooling agenda forward
• Experienced in leading large-scale projects spanning over several countries/organizations with multiple stakeholders
• Able to work both individually and together with others in a collaborative and co-creative way
• Well familiar with Ingka Group Project Management and Steering principles as well as Ingka Group Governance processes
• Experienced in change management and change communication
• Comfortable in writing and speaking in English
A day in your life with us
As the Project Manager for this initiative, you will be overall responsible for the implementation of Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC) in our units. You will work together with a central team consisting of subject matter experts and your role will be to coordinate the overall planning and execution of the transition to renewable heating and cooling. You will be responsible for aligning with stakeholders, both centrally and in our markets, to secure planning, financing and execution of projects in line with our overall targets. You will be supported by a Project Steering Group consisting of representation from all major stakeholders and your role will be critical to secure a holistic and business-minded approach to this project.
You will also be responsible for preparing scenario analysis, including timelines and cost estimates, related to RHC transition projects. You will use your Leadership skills to establish effective cooperation with all stakeholders and partners during project planning and execution to secure project targets are met within expected quality, time and budget.
Amongst other things you will:
• Lead and coordinate the central team of subject matter experts, securing that the project is moving forward in line with expectations
• Coordinate and align all impacted stakeholders in a clear and structured way
• Secure high quality transition plans in all countries and support all projects through governance processes
• Prepare and present project reporting and tracking to Project Steering Group
• Engage the central team of subject matter experts in a progressive attitude towards innovation and adaptation to a constantly changing environment
• Support the central team of subject matter experts as well as local project organizations by ensuring that all relevant and necessary project processes linked to design, permitting, procurement and construction are timely planned, executed and followed up according to rules, frameworks and legislation
• Secure a structured approach to capture learnings from executed transition projects and apply to future transition projects

In this role you will be reporting into Patrik Florén, Construction Delivery Manager at Group Real Estate, and be based in Malmö, Sweden.
