Scania is one of the world's leading manufacturers of trucks and buses for heavy transport applications, and of industrial and marine engines. To keep competiveness we work continuously to improve the quality level of our products.
We lead cross functional teams with the aim to improve the quality of Scania gearboxes based on quality reports from our customers. Our challenges during 2014 is to continue increase the quality of our products and decrease the lead time to introduce improvements. In this position you will be part of a dynamic group, you will improve your leadership skills and you will build a broad wide contact net within Scania.
Your duties
You will be a project manager with the task to create, lead and motivate cross functional project teams to deliver results. The aim of the projects is to rapidly solve problems at our Scania gearboxes and introduce improvements both into our production system and to the aftermarket.
We work closely with field quality engineering, development departments, production, purchasing and aftermarket organizations. When needed you will visit Scania workshops, suppliers and customers.
Your profile
You are driven and dedicated with good communication skills, you have an ability to create structure and analyse both the overall picture and details. As a Project Manager in our team you should have a positive attitude, be independent, have good leadership skills, be unpretentious and find it easy to create good relationships. You have to like to run projects and motivate your team always with the end customer in focus.
You must have at least a Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent work experience. Experience from project management and leadership is beneficial, as well as technical gearbox knowledge and experience from production, market, R&D or purchasing. You must be able to express yourself in both speech and writing in Swedish and English, German is beneficial.
