Role Summary/Purpose:
GE Global Operations in Europe is undergoing significant organizational change as we transfer enabling functions and processes from the various GE businesses and broaden our scope in line with the Company's global enterprise standards. The Project Manager - Nordics, Baltics & Benelux will provide project leadership and drive execution of both local projects and migration initiatives to the Global Operations Center in Budapest.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Managing the end-to-end migration project(s), including change and stakeholder management
• Contributing to the execution and development of the operational plan in line with the Global and European strategies
• Leading, tracking and ensuring quality and completeness of knowledge transfer
• Driving service readiness; working with operations team and IT integration to confirm technology requirements
• Leading other local projects related to service quality, productivity, process simplification, digitization and harmonization as required
• Operating in a matrix organization.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Experience managing complex projects, with a high degree of change management
• Excellent influencing and relationship management skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Shared services experience or solid understanding of shared services dynamics
• Strong ownership and accountability with a proven track record of execution
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to drive process excellence and standardization
• Experience in leading culturally diverse teams, cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Availability to travel ~50 % of the time
• EU work permit
