Poolia, on behalf of client, are looking for a project manager within product testing projects and general ERP IT-systems projects. You will act as consultant on behalf of clients customers. The company in question is in the telecommunications industry and the section that you will be located in has about 25 employees, but the project spans over several sections. Hence, the person will be working with a large group of people, from cutting edge engineers to product management managers. Mostly in-house employees with engineering background, in all age groups. Work place has a high IT maturity.
You will be employed by Poolia the first 6 months in a so-called rent-first solution. The employment will then move into permanent position with the client.
Publiceringsdatum2010-03-08Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will be responsible for the planning process as well as the product testing and certification process. This includes managing 10-15 in-house testers but also the responsibility for the coordination of external test houses and ensuring the certification of the products. Responsibilities in cost and process improvement initiatives is also very likely.
The projects can involve IT system implementations, or implementation of new modules in existing systems. These IT-systems are supporting the end customer's business processes and are often large and complex.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Your main skill requirement is general project management, but you also benefit from any knowledge of telecommunication technology, large ERP-systems like SAP and similar as well as IT-governance models. You should have at least 4-8 years of relevant experience with a focus on project management, preferably in the field of IT-systems. Test experience and experience in test coordination is beneficial.
Regular MS Office and MS Outlook skills is required as well as a general good IT-knowledge.
As a person you are self confident and curious in learning new technologies. You are structured and organized and goal oriented. You are also used to work with and leading groups in project setups. The ability to see both the details of a task and project as well as the wholeness of the same is a must.
Good English skills are required.
