Project Manager - Infotainment Control Module
Volvo Cars Product Development, Electrical & Electronics, is looking for a design project manager to the Infotainment field. You will be leading projects in the Infotainment Platform with a primary focus on Infotainment Control Module (ICM), but also with connection to Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE). This role involves a wide range of tasks ranging from request for quotation (RFQ) of new components to introducing products into the production. The work will be accomplished in a cross-functional team and it will include many international contacts.
The infotainment department is responsible for specification, development and verifying of systems and components. You will work with the latest technology in the infotainment area which is an exciting field were you will get to work toward future characteristics and requirements.
Job profile:
• Manage engineering projects and ensure delivery with regards to time-, technology- and cost management in the area of electrical and electronic systems
• Be responsible for RFQ of new components and the control module of car project
• Answer for product requirement specification, product validation, product release and ensure production launch
• Manage vendor contacts in regards to planning and monitoring
• Ensure commonality between projects
• Work in close cooperation with the suppliers and software designers
Your profile:
• University degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equal competence level
• Experience in project management within electronics engineering
• Structured
• High level of energy
• Open minded

• Teamwork oriented
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
