hela Sverige Project Office at Sales and Marketing is an organisation handling all aspects needed to bring new products and services to our markets. Today it consists several parts; one of which is Experience projects, which is responsible for project management of international exhibitions and launch related events. The nature of these projects include running cross functional working groups in creating physical events. The aim with the events is to strengthen the Scania brand and the relationship to the identified target group, which is often customers.
Assignment
In the open position you will be responsible for project management of one or more projects within the area of events and exhibitions. Examples are launch activities such as sales training, customer events and international exhibitions that showcase the Scania offer. You will be responsible for the planning, setup and execution of your assigned projects and in this lead different project groups within Scania.
Besides cross-functional interaction inside Scania, the projects will also include contact with several of our markets representatives and also external suppliers. A natural part of the work is also the development of our organisation and the project management role.
Your profile
Within the area of event and exhibition management there is always a very definitive deadline, with many possibilities and creativity along the way. Here you need to have the ability to translate overall project ambitions into concrete tasks and be able to motivate and set demands on the project contributors. There are many stakeholders and often a high level of management attention. In this position you need to enjoy handling change and have a high level of flexibility.
You are a structured person with high energy and ability to keep focus on the target and see the overall picture. You enjoy playing a central role in the project and, as you will be a key person in dialog with assignors, steering groups and in dialog with our distributors, you feel comfortable presenting to smaller and larger groups of people.
A qualification for the position is that you have thorough experience in working with global launch activities and operational experience from international exhibitions, both within the heavy automotive industry.
