hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Chalmers Industriteknik, Stiftelsen i Göteborg We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Emerging Technology & Innovation team to lead client engagements and further develop CIT's innovation and technology transfer services. You will utilise your expertise in a wide range of technology-based innovation activities, spanning from supporting specific innovation projects with commercialization advice to implementing intellectual property (IP) functions in large multi-lateral research and innovation consortia. Your initial work will be focused on innovation work in the Graphene Flagship, Europe 's largest research initiative to date with a budget of EUR1 billion. Identifying new business opportunities and executing client projects is another essential part for this role.
Main tasks
• Scout and provide initial commercial evaluation of promising research projects - You will work with world leading researchers all over Europe to understand commercially relevant results, create hypotheses of how they could be commercialized, and systematically present summaries to different stakeholders
• Coordinate and prioritize a portfolio of innovation projects - You will keep track of commercially relevant research results in the Graphene Flagship and prioritize innovation support needs and promotion
• Provide innovation advice - You will perform data driven market and technology analysis of innovation opportunities across different industries, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance commercialization through contract research, IPR licensing, joint ventures and spin-off companies
• Interact with and support a network of Business Developers across Europe - You will work across multiple technological fields in close collaboration with a European network of business developers and researchers and contribute with IP and technology transfer expertise
• Business development - You will engage with CIT's potential clients to understand their needs and translate them to competitive service offerings
• Identify new growth opportunities for CIT's Emerging Technology & Innovation services - You will contribute to the further development and growth of the Emerging Technology & Innovation team by creating innovation service solutions as well as monitoring relevant European calls
We are looking for a team-oriented person with the necessary skills, passion and poise to hit the ground running and contribute to the further development of our small but growing innovation team. Following qualifications are required:
• minimum 5 years of experience from working with innovation management and technology transfer from a leading consultancy firm or other industrial / academic actor
• M.Sc. or higher University degree in a technical area
• broad understanding of important issues to consider in developing technology-based innovations (e.g. market, IP, business models)
• first-hand examples of performed data driven market, IP and technology landscape analyses with successful outcomes
• experience from research collaboration and technology transfer, preferably hands-on involvement in executing intellectual property agreements
• high analytic capability with an ability to independently provide structure and prioritization to complex and diffuse problems and situations, including translating overall goals to plans and actions
• ability to build trust and relationships with people of different backgrounds and expertise
• excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English.
