This is us, your new colleaguesWe, the EEVC Project Management Office, consist of 30 project and portfolio managers. We are involved in all projects with electrical, electronics and/or vehicle connectivity impact. In some product changes we have an overall responsibility for the complete vehicle delivery, in others we take the EEVC project management role for the specification, design and internal verification of the electrical system. As a Project Manager EEVC, you will be a future key player in the most extensive heavy duty vehicle projects and manage EEVC strategic areas contributing to the overall business. You will be responsible for all aspects of our project deliveries and work with a broad perspective from high level prerequisites and concept development in the early phases - to the later project phases managing planning, development and delivery. Even though there are few interactions between the project management colleagues in the daily work there is a great we feeling within the team and everyone are always prepared to support and guide each other if needed. Who are you?To be prepared for this role we think that you have a solid project management background and that you have several proven examples of successful deliveries and positive results as well as insights from having faced though challenges. In our global organizational structure you will be in an agile set-up as well as the traditional project model. Therefore your ability to be flexible and adaptable to the situation and good way with people will be a success factor. You are a team player interacting through a broad network, having the skills to transfer high level prerequisites into project requirements and deliverables - as well as being comfortable to communicate project status in steering committees, reference groups, and management teams on executive level. You have the abilities to prioritize and focus the project on the main areas contributing to delivering an improved EEVC business result. To encourage people comes natural for you, and to set and show clear direction as well as be transparent both in good and tough times is a given. You always strive to develop further in your role and show strength to manage risks in planning and decision making. You are of course both business and customer oriented. Required knowledge/experienceIn this position you will work in an international environment, meaning that being fluent in both spoken and written English is something we requireAt least three years of leading other people in projects as task leader or project leader, or in agile roles such as scrum master or product owner is a pre-requisite.
