What you'll do
As the Project Manager, you will be a part of a strong team where members have different roles and collaborate extensively. You will set the project frames, ensure progress and have several external contact areas, and are thereby an important link to enable success for the team and its field of work. On a daily basis, you will manage the group project portfolio and lead projects related to Big Data, ranging from early-phase research to rollout of insights. You will also act as ambassador for carrying out the Big Data contribution in the company. Connecting Volvo Cars with universities, institutes, authorities and partner companies will also be included in your tasks as well as driving joint research collaboration projects.
Do you fit the profile?
In order to succeed in this role, we believe you have a M.Sc, MBA or equivalent in a relevant field and Project Management certificates, training or documented experience. We want you to have a high-level of understanding and interest in Big Data concepts. You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written and sincerely enjoy interacting with and presenting to people in various forums.
