Job description:
We are looking for an experienced project leader for one of our customers within the automotive sector. As project leader you will manage cross functional teams in engineering projects and ensure delivery with regards to time-, technology- and cost. You will be responsible for deliverables connected to implementing design solutions into new car models and perform design reviews to the team. You will answer for system solution validation and ensure production launch. You will work in close cooperation with suppliers and manage supplier contacts in regards to planning and monitoring. Periodically traveling may be necessary depending on assignment. As project leader you will also be responsible for work related to quality and take part of and influence future strategies.
Your profile:
We think that you are a result- and collaboration oriented person with experience of project management within the automotive sector. You have good technical knowledge and a passionate interest in technology. Our customers and commitments put strong demands on your technical skills as well as your interpersonal skills. You have strong communication skills, are able act independently and take initiatives and have an excellent English language level, verbally and in writing. You have an ease of understanding new data, are used to seek information and are not afraid to handle contacts with customers and their suppliers.
Qualifications:
• B.Sc. Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Documented experience of project management in the automotive sector
• Good technical knowledge
• Strong communication skills and fluent in written and spoken English
• Experience/understanding of design work in Catia and other systems that manage drawings and 3-D models is meritorious
