hela Sverige We are now looking for a project manager on behalf of one of our customers working within innovative discovery services in the areas of chronic pain, neuropsychiatry and neurodegeneration. The position is for a project manager having experience from managing projects within the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry. Ideally, the candidate should have a background within neuroscience or neurobiology. The employment offers an exciting opportunity to provide leadership in the company 's ongoing customer projects within neurodegeneration and chronic pain.
The role
This is a leadership position, where responsibility will be to plan and manage projects based on client requests, and ensure that projects are executed in time according to the planning. The company is a matrix organization meaning that the applicant will work with various members of the operations team depending on the type of project. Furthermore, the applicant will manage all client communication during the course of the project, excellent collaborative and communicative skills are therefore required.

Requirements
* A PhD or MSc in neuroscience, pharmacology, biomedicine, biology or equivalent discipline
• Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry project management experience working in matrixed drug discovery project teams
• Comfortable with working on and prioritizing multiple projects
Preferred experience/requirements
* Prior working experience with neurodegenerative or neuroinflammatory diseases
• Experience from using high-content cellular imaging techniques as well as genetic modifiers (e.g., CRISPR, shRNA) and/or genomic-scale gene expression and data analysis technologies.
• Experience from assay development, screening and/or pharmacology using cell-based systems, preferably primary- or stem-cell based systems
• Fluency in both spoken and written Swedish and English
