To our shipping department in Gothenburg we are looking for a Project Logistics Coordinator.
Valmet in Gothenburg engineers, produces and delivers recovery boilers and evaporation plants for the pulp and paper industry and environmentally friendly power and heat boilers for technically demanding fuels.
The shipping department is responsible for the external flow of logistics for large pulp and energy industry projects and smaller projects within service. The work involves coordinating a large logistics flow to and from Gothenburg and from suppliers to customers.
The work involves many contacts both internally and externally i.e. with customers, suppliers, customs, freight forwarders, banks and insurance companies.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a university degree within logistics or finance, or other qualifications that we recognize as equal in weight.
Furthermore you have work experience in freight forwarding, preferably with an international focus. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required.
You are a proactive person who is passionate about service and delivering the best possible outcome. Of great importance is also that you are a team player with high social skills and very good communication and interpersonal skills.
Furthermore you need good computer skills, a structured approach and very good planning ability.
