Business description
The Volvo gearbox, AMT, is the heart of the Volvo Powertrain for Volvo Group truck brands. The gearbox platform development is made in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Driveline testing group is responsible for the development testing and the verification testing.
Job description
As Project Leader Verification (PLV) in the testing group you will be directly involved in the development work of gearboxes.
You will plan and actively lead and prioritize activities needed within projects, to reach reliability and durability targets for the complete powertrain.
As PLV you will be part of the engineering project management team and reports to the Project Manager Engineering and your line organization.
The role includes long and short term planning, including identifying needed activities, lead and follow up of activities and reporting of status.
You will work close to project managers, system developers, technology leaders as well as the development and verification teams.

Qualifications and skills
• Master's degree or equivalent, within relevant engineering field
• English proficiency is a requirement, written and spoken
• Experience from engine/transmission/vehicle development
• We believe you are pragmatic, driven and always open to learn new things
• We have a strong emphasis on collaboration and sharing - so we expect you are a team player
• Driving license level B
