Role Summary
Lead the way in digital transformation at Scania's Smart Factory Lab! We are an innovation-driven team focusing on automation and digitalization to enhance production and logistics globally. As a Project Leader, you will collaborate across teams to implement scalable digital solutions, provide strategic direction, and contribute to technology development. We are looking for a curious and solution-oriented team player with experience in IT, digitalization, or production engineering. Join us in shaping the future of industrial digitalization!
Job Responsibilities
As a Project Leader, you will bring together technology and operations, ensuring that projects deliver measurable impact. Your responsibilities include:
Project Management - Facilitate and coordinate digitalization initiatives with a focus on scalability and industrial application.
Guidance & Support - Mentor and collaborate with team members to ensure knowledge-sharing and growth.
Innovation & Exploration - Identify and develop practical applications for emerging technologies.
Strategic Development - Contribute to the long-term governance of digitalization projects
Business Impact & Implementation - Work with teams to ensure that our projects align with real business needs.
Smart Factory Lab Operations - Drive experiments, learning, and testing in our Smart Factory Lab.

Who You Are
We are looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who bridges technology and operations. You should have:
Strong communication & interpersonal skills - Ability to engage, inspire, and align stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in project management - 3-5 years in IT, digital transformation, production engineering, or innovation.
A team-focused mindset - Comfortable working across disciplines and fostering collaboration.
Organizational & problem-solving skills - A structured and adaptable approach to managing projects.
A technical & industrial background - MSc in Production Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Development, or equivalent experience.

Languages: English is required; additional languages, including Swedish, are a plus!

The Smart Factory Lab operates on a global scale, driving innovation in automation and digitalization to enhance People, Planet & Profit while improving efficiency, safety, and quality in production and logistics. Our diverse team of 18 experts brings together skills in robotics, data & AI, citizen development, and digital work instructions.
