hela Sverige Atlas Copco Surface Drilling Equipment Division are now looking for an experienced and qualified candidate with the main mission to work as Project Leader R&D in the Research & Development (R&D) department, but you will also from time to time work as Project Manager for cross functional projects or as Product Responsible for a specific product.
As Project Leader R&D you will lead the R&D part of our product development projects from idea to a complete product. Our product development projects can be both local projects in Örebro but also global projects with project members and project managers from different Atlas Copco sites around the world.
In this role you will have the primary responsibility for the R&D part in the projects in all its phases. You will be involved in defining project scope and content. You will also be responsible for that a well operating project team in the R&D department will be formed and also that a R&D project time plan, budget and resource planning will be established and fulfilled. During the project, you will lead the work in the R&D department and also cross functional support the other departments functional project leaders to do a good job in theirs different sub projects.
You must have an ability to work in a structured and driving way, have a good sense of orderliness and both the willingness and capability to consistently deliver the right quality with good delivery precision. As Project Leader R&D, you are the project's main R&D person and it is your actions that determine whether the R&D part in the project, and by that the whole project, will be successful or not.
The mission can also involve acting as a Project Manager for cross functional projects. Depending on need you could also act as Product Responsible where you will have the technically responsibility for the products fulfillment of technical and legal demands and to secure that product is competitive during the product life cycle.
Experience
To succeed in this role you must have experience in project management with similar complexity as our products, preferably in an international environment. You should also have experience from product development or similar, experience from mobile applications in demanding environments is meriting.
Knowledge
You should have a general technical knowledge and skills in project management. Very good knowledge of English is required since English is our corporate language and is used, both in speech and in writing.
Education Requirements
You should have a documented academic background, civil engineer with the appropriate orientation or other highly qualified engineer.
Personality
When you as Project leader R&D have to get your entire project team to consistently deliver the ever best they can, you need to have a high social competence, are clear and firm with good communications skills and a strong internal driving force. You should be able to work under pressure and have the desire to take full responsibility. Technically advanced products for demanding customers around the world should be an inspiring area.
