What do we offer?
At Powertrain Mounts & Air Induction System you will contribute to the driver 's experience of the car. The section is organized under the department Propulsion Energy Systems within Vehicle Propulsion. The section consists of around 50 persons, divided into 3 groups. We are now looking for a Group Design Leader (GDL) Quality to the group Project & Maintenance, which consists of 10 skilled employees, in different roles, working with both of the technical groups that develops and designs Powertrain Mounts and Air Induction Systems. As a GDL Quality, you will lead missions within quality, which demand cross-functional cooperation.
Wat you'll do?
As GDL Quality you will be working with issues in projects from the industrialization phase until end of life, implementing solutions for different quality issues. The quality issues are very varied in their content and have different complexity and solution time plans. You will coordinate and lead the work to reach the technical objectives and secure that the deliveries are in time according to the time plan. The work will require close contact within our section, other areas within product and quality, our plants and with our suppliers.
Main responsibilities:
* Lead and manage quality assignments at the section. Analyze the root cause of the different quality issues, plan and lead the implementation of the solution.
* Analyze Early Warning System (EWS) and make conclusions and reports from the system
* Initiate and assure that corrective actions are carried out when deviations occurs
* Lead and coordinate the work of cross functional design teams to secure quality project deliveries
* Make presentations, report recommendations at quality meetings and technical decision meetings, communicate status and forecast for the quality organization and line organization.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a strong delivery orientation, and are a person who can motivate others through your positive energy. To be able to handle the different issues that can occurs, we see that you are analytic with and open mind and the ability to "think outside the box". You are used to prioritize tasks and be flexible in your work.
We see that you have a university education within engineering or equivalent experience from that area in the automotive industry. You have previous worked with product development, if you have addressed quality issues that is a benefit. You need to hold a driver's license and be fluent in English (both written and spoken). Swedish is meritorious.
For you to fully succeed, we also see that you are good at sum up and present information in a structured way that makes different people understand the status. Overall, you are a good communicator, with great cooperative skills.
