Profile of candidates:
• Interested in the anti-discrimination issues and in combating intolerance based on sexual orientation, gender and ethnicity.
• Person has a background in using Arabic language skills (oral and written), and strong English/Swedish
• Half-time position (50%)

In your cover letter please mention how you think it is possible to combat discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation and ethnicity and how can it be possible to fight homophobia, racism and Islamphobia in the LGBTQI-society.

Qualifications:
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Knowledge of Arabic and identify yourself within the LGBTQI-Community
• Experience in anti-racist movements
• Knowledge and/or experience with intersectionality
• Experience in project development and execution
• Knowledge in using social media
• Have a general knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Be easy to communicate with and inspire others, especially those with immigrant background
Duties:
• Inspire and involve lesbian, gay and transgender youth to take part in the Initiative
• Write debate articles and carry out activities in the project
• Produce and document material within the project
• Develop the organization's anti-racist work
• Translations of material/writing information in different languages
• Project funds management
Merits:
• Knowledge of Swedish
• Experience in volunteer involvement and youth activities
• Knowledge of the search SIDA and EU grant
• Knowledge of administration and accounting
• Knowledge of other cultures and intersectionality
Salary: 50% Employment, 10 000 SEK/Month
Priority is given to LGBTQI-persons that have been unemployed for longer time and to female applicants.
The project started in February 2012, and will continue until December 2012.
