The ability to clearly communicate what we have on offer, and how we see ourselves as a company, is of the utmost importance for Sandvik Materials Technology, and places high demands on our marketing communication.
Key performance areas
As a project leader for marketing communication, you will have overall responsibility for marketing communication within the Tube product area. You will also cooperate closely with other project leaders for marketing communication within the business area, as well as with the staff function for marketing communication.
There is a great deal of variety in the work of this position, with many contacts in the organization, either as a participant in, or project leader for, strategically important projects, or as a trainer in the use of different marketing communication tools within the business area.
In the roll of project leader for Tube, you are expected to be able to handle everything from small, quick projects to campaigns that stretch over several years with several different products or product areas involved. Therefore, the ability to both act on an operational level and to think and reason strategically is vital. You will also be responsible for developing marketing communication plans for the different product groups and integrating them in to an overall plan for the product area.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is truly enthusiastic about marketing communication and understands the importance of marketing communication supporting the business strategy. You have extensive education in marketing or advertising and/or equivalent experience in the field. We also desire experience as a project leader at an advertising agency, or similar experience from a marketing department.
As an individual, you must be a highly motivated project leader with a great deal of integrity, who can work independently and take responsibility for initiating, planning, overseeing, carrying out and following up of marketing communication activities. You know what kind of marketing communication that works, according to existing conditions and needs. Due to the fast tempo of the job, you must be versatile and flexible, as well as unafraid to take the initiative and to dive in where needed. We take for granted that you have excellent knowledge of English and good familiarity with computers.
The position is based in Sandviken.
