We are now looking for a Project Leader E/E!
Description
The E/E Team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will part of the E/E leadership team together with group managers for electronics, infotainment, PASD and electrical archtecture, but your role will be a project leader role responsible for the departments delivarables in our vehicle projects. A project leader E/E primarily collaborates internally with other project leaders in different functional areas as well as engineers and technical specialists in E/E and other functional areas. A project leader E/E also interacts externally with suppliers and is involved in all phases of a car project. In this role You will report to the Director E/E, but also to the project leader of the car project/projects you are allocated to.
The role as Project Leader E/E involves:
• Plan and coordinate cross functional engineering and development projects within the E/E department.
• Ensure project deliverables according to NEVS development process.
• Be responsible for resolution of roadblocks or escalation when needed
• Active participation in leadership team for E/E department.
• Supporting the definition, maintenance and continuous improvement of engineering and product development processes, guidelines and methods in the E/E department.
• Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce costs.
• Evaluating the feasibility of new proposals and products.
• Anchoring the assignment's decisions, development and status with the responsible line management
We are looking for someone who has:
• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience from Infotainment in the automotive industry, minimum 5 years
• Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Automotive E/E Systems
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Driver license B
