The Concept Centre design and manufacture concepts and early physical test objects. The Concept Centre is involve in the whole process from producing single components for our pilot series to complete executable concept cars, and showing cars for the major auto shows around the world.
As a Project Leader you will be a part of the Order Office & Concept Centre together with 27 employees with different roles, project leade, concept-and tool engineers, project planner and purchase. Our customers are mainly in R&D and Styling. We are responsible for designing prototypes for our show concept cars with both engineering functionality and tool for manufacturing in our in-house production process. You will work closely with different internal customers, order office and workshops at the Concept Center.
Main responsibilities
• Responsible for the technical process and cooperating with the customer
• Create specification with the customer for the technical and test object
• Find technique solutions to manufacture prototypes and test project
• Lead our concept team to manufacture single prototype parts or a complete show car or concept car for exhibitions
Required qualifications
• B.Sc. grade within mechanical engineering, or a similar education
• Experience in project management
• Mechanical or Mechatronic skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Experience of automotive is meritorious
• Knowledge about tooling and prototype materials like carbon fibre, polyurethane etc is meritorious
• Experience in Catia V5 is an asset
• Driving license
