Position description:
Assignment is a Global Design Leader for Rear Lights
The Exterior Lighting Program Execution group is now looking for an experienced Project Leader with knowledge from previous assignment(s). You will be responsible for the rear lights and working with our supplier to deliver a state of the art solution. Your interfaces are manufacturing, purchasing, design department and project/line management. This project is high profile and your must be able to handle many different tasks under time pressure. Experience from working with Chinese suppliers would be beneficial.
The Exterior department Vehicle Hardware develops most of what you see on the outside of the car. We are responsible for the entire process of engineering design of exterior systems such as glass, bumpers & grilles, mouldings, lighting, and large injection moulded exterior plastic parts.
We have the development responsibility for all of our product families and the development work is done in close cooperation with our suppliers. Development activities are carried out mainly in Gothenburg.
You will work in a creative environment where tomorrow's cars are shaped. We work in flexible cross-functional teams tailored to development tasks. In the team, we are working together, caring and helping each other. We have a wide interface that provides both an extensive contact network as well as knowledge in the many varied property areas.
We develop technology strategies and the implementation of advanced engineering, quality assurance of competitive concept solutions, system solutions and offers in the Exterior department area. We have cross functional operation of the department's commitment to product project and product maintenance over time.
• Drivers license is a must
• English and Swedish, verbally as well as written
• Structured and with a professional approach
• Self-driven
Other competencies requested
• Project and team management training or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of; planning, project follow-up, financial control
Technical competence
• Very good practical and theoretical knowledge in the product area and its functionality in the complete vehicle.
• Analytical skills and design experience.
• Technical education at college level or equivalent
