hela Sverige The Project Lead for IT & Application Software services in the Nordics has a key role in the Technical Direction (TD) unit to ensure high quality, profitability, in scope, in budget, in time, and risks management of the work package deliveries in Sweden and Finland. You will be working for ALTEN IT Nordics Time & Material and Fixed Price project team deliveries. The role is a leadership role and the expectation is to be a proactive coworker with the business managers and customers.
You are a hands-on and participative individual who is passionate about Agile ways-of-working (e.g. Scrum and SAFe) and is able to work as a Product Owner, Scrum Master or as a Technical Lead in the customer delivery projects. You will be a part of the Technical Direction IT delivery unit responsible for forming the WP Bid Management, WP Delivery Management and Offerings development. In addition to Project Leads, the unit also contains Practice Leads who leads business development, drives the service areas and lead the competence networks. Reporting line will be to the Technical Director of ALTEN IT Nordics.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Act as a project lead in the work package/project deliveries in Sweden and/or near- and off-shore service deliveries in Time & Material and/or fixed scope projects within IT & Application software development.
Focus is on Sweden and more countries may be added to the scope over time.
As a project lead you would be expected to work from 50% to 75% as a Product Owner, Scrum Master or Technical Lead (Software development) on the customer delivery projects.
You will be responsible for all the Projects/Work Packages within your project portfolio.
Key for your success as a project lead is to secure project/work package profitability and ensure high quality on the financial forecasting vs. actuals reporting. Other important success criteria's in the delivery are great communication skills, project reporting, leadership, high quality, in scope, in budget, in time, risk management and to ensure technical competences for those deliveries.
You will operationally lead project team members, other leaders and resources delivering in your different work packages and projects.
Drive and participate in Project/Work Package delivery meetings and Steering Group meetings with customer from project teams to C-level. Project lead will work closely with ALTEN Nordics IT Business Managers to identify new opportunities for business and over time improve the project / work package delivery profitability.
Other activities include occasional participation in the internal bid process including input requested on project scope and work package deliveries when we generate leads and tenders.
Support Business Managers in negotiations with the customers to create favorable business for ALTEN.
Upsell time & material or fixed price consulting business into work package and nearshore structures.
Participation in kick-offs together with clients to ensure successful handover to delivery once deals are won.
Participate in work on securing new frame agreements, SoW's, agreements and change requests with prioritized clients.
Co-develop the ALTEN TD IT Nordics Work Package Delivery methodology and TD IT Unit development activities.
COLLABORATION AND SYNERGIES
Co-operation with the other PL's / PM's in the perimeter (TD IT Nordics).
Delivery coordination and collaboration with ALTEN Nordics' preferred internal nearshore partner - the ALTEN Delivery Center in Spain.
Working on business synergy with all ALTEN's entities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, electronics engineering, information systems or similar discipline preferred.
3+ years of relevant and proven project lead / project manager or/and IT consulting or software engineering experience.
Knowledge of the Enterprise IT Services market, including main technologies, concepts, delivery models (Agile as an iterative approach, Scrum, SAFe or DevOps).
A track record in software delivery or in product development in an enterprise B2B setting.
Fluent in Swedish and English
