The Role
As Project Industrialization Manager you will manage high-complexity projects with significant business impact and support teams in applying project management expertise. You will be part of a dynamic team in the automotive industry.
Main tasks:
Design, communicate and implement operational plans for engineering-based projects in manufacturing and industrialization.
Prepare designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities and equipment.
Monitor progress and performance against the project plan, taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
Identify, develop, and gather the necessary resources to complete the project.
Prepare engineering standards, designs and work specifications; develop project schedules, budgets and forecasts. Also, select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
Manage large projects or end-to-end processes with limited oversight from the manager.
Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
Address and solve complex and difficult problems.
Support teams in applying project management expertise.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Experience and Competencies
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in industrialization project management. A certification in project management is highly desirable. The candidate should have extensive experience in the manufacturing and automotive industries, along with strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities are essential, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills.
