Calderys Nordic AB is a world leader in installation projects of refractory materials for industry and is now looking for a Project Execution Manager for the Swedish market. In the rool as theProject Execution Manager you will be responsible to secure day-to-day activities linked to an effective management of all ongoing delivery projects within the project department. The Project Execution Manager will lead a small team of project specialists, managers and supervisors and develop their way of working professionally with delivery projects along with being responsible for the continuous improvement of Calderys project execution. The Position is part of the management team and a key player in developing and coordinating the work and deliverables of projects in the organization. The new Project Execution Manager will work closely with (and report to) the Project Execution Manager Europe.

As the new Project Execution Manager you will take ownership of all project related work streams in the organization. This means to set up and manage all necessary processes and governance to effectively track and follow-up all activities and milestones in order to secure progress in project execution. You will also act as a project manager in larger delivery projects and be the key contact person for the customer in this role. As such you will participate in negotiations with customers and leave comments on contract proposals.

Calderys are looking for a person with good business knowledge in combination with strong project management skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. To be successful you will need to bring certain seniority and a recognized experience along with a structured and pro-active mindset to gain credibility and trust from the organization. You also need to carry a structured approach, analytical skills along with some authority in your presence. A background from project management within industries like Pulp and Paper, Energy, Metal or Construction will be beneficial to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Drive the work flow based on the project execution plan
• Set up and manage the necessary processes and governance for effective project management
• Track, follow-up and measure all projects within the Swedish organization
• Support the management team to secure business progress in all projects
• Support the Project Execution Manager Europe with various tasks to prepare for project business meetings, presentations and decisions

Requirements and skills

• Project management experience
• Preferably a BSc or MSc technical degree
• Business knowledge and interest
• Flexible team player attitude
• Entrepreneurial and creative mindset
• Able to provide structure in a fast paced and changing environment
• Excellent English, written and spoken
• Excellent MS Office skills such as Powerpoint, Excel
• A flexibility to travel

Compensation

A compensation package in line with market terms will be offered

Location

The Position will be located in one of Calderys office in Gothenburgh.
