The client is designing, manufacturing, installing, commissioning, and providing aftermarket service for a wide variety of drilling systems and equipment.
To the office in South Norway, Kristiansand we are now looking for Project Engineers to join the team.
We need project engineers to do the design and delivery of a range of products related to pipe handling of drilling rigs. We want to strengthen the team on project site and are looking for a person who can work independently but also in close contact with the product manager and mechanical manager of the group.
Responsibilities will primarily be:
Drive retail design in Autodesk Inventor according to guidelines.
Preparation of tender documentation.
Prepare complete drawings for production.
Preparation, coordination and control of project specific technical documentation.
Technical clarifications to the agent / contractor / site.
Supervision of suppliers and partners internally and externally.
Development of existing products.
Qualifications and skills:
We are looking for positive and motivated employees who want to move to Norway on a permanent basis. Prior experience within the oil and gas industry is not required but is an advantage. We look for people who have expertise in mechanical engineering disciplines as well as relevant experience in mechanical design. Good communication and interpersonal skills and good written and oral presentation skills in English is required.
You must have experience using 3D design tools.
Experience of Autocad and Autodesk Inventor would be advantageous.
