This position is at a multicultural company working with construction based in Gothenburg. At this company you will be working with the very best in the business and build valuable work relationships. Tasks and responsibilities:
In the role of project engineer, you act as a support to technical management, specialists and various department leaders. The role includes participation in design coordination, follow-up of design development, site coordination as well as economics. As a project engineer, you have the technical skills needed for given tasks and you therefore propose decisions on actions, action options and use of resources. Throughout the project duration, you will work closely with the technical management and together with other employees in the projects for safe design and production with high productivity, quality and profitability. In addition, you will also communicate with external suppliers, subcontractors and government agencies in case of need.
• Participation in design coordination activities
• Follow up and scheduling of design and site related issues in cooperation with Planning department
• Evaluation of quality assurance related to design
• Issuance and follow-up of additional design tasks/works ordered to designers/subcontractors
• Financial control on design subcontractors in cooperation with Finance department
• Assistance to technical team management and department leaders
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
• Civil or Master's degree programs with a focus on infrastructure or equivalent work experience
• Experience in the role of Project Engineer or equivalent position
• Experience in design of similar projects
• Full professional English required, Swedish is a bonus
