We are looking for a Project Engineer to manage Wärtsilä 3C system integration deliveries to our customers. Wärtsilä Control & Communication Centre (3C) is a system integration solution where Wärtsilä engines, automation and propulsion systems are integrated with a navigation system supplied by our partner. The Project Engineer will be working as an important link between the 3C project core team and the Wärtsilä Project Delivery Team to assure a successful delivery.

Responsibilities Project delivery coordination
• Coordination of delivery documents
• Reporting progress and any deviations to core team
• Assisting the site team (Wärtsilä / suppliers) where applicable
• Coordination of commissioning activities
• Customer follow up during delivery

Main tasks:
• Support and work for project engineering in delivery projects
• Establish a communication link between the 3C core team and project delivery team
• Gather information from suppliers and Wärtsilä to support the project goals
• Specify equipment and scope of sub-suppliers and coordinate their deliveries
• Coordination of Purchase order requisitions
• Supervise component deliveries and logistics
• Manage project documents and instructions for 3C (yard documentation)
• Attending Factory Acceptance Tests of sub suppliers where applicable
• Support customer during project time
• Support sales and sales engineering
• Prepare project and sales material

Requirements - MSc Electrical or Marine engineering or comparable degree
• Good knowledge of electrical/automation and system integration
• Good knowledge in related SW applications
• Previous experience in system integration projects. Previous commissioning experience will be an advantage
• Good, communication and team working skills
• Committed, determined, persistent, and ability to finalise project
• Results oriented
