hela Sverige As the global center of excellence, the team is providing extensive support to the global sales organization during project pursuit, technical support to the global project engineering teams, supporting aftermarket through commissioning as well as for retrofit and upgrade deliveries. As Project Engineer you will have the overall project engineering responsibility in all phases of a project. You are the technical expert in the quotation phase and have a key function in the most complex projects to support the sales organization and to ensure a feasible technical solution.
Once the order is received the Project Engineer has full responsibility for the project execution; to ensure technical data, developing order unique technical documentation, and to ensure material and databases being available to start production timely.
Other responsibilities:
• design customer unique engineered assemblies
• facilitate and lead the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) when applicable
• provide technical support to the commissioning engineers
• develop and maintain templates and tools to support the project work globally

We are now offering an exciting position as Project Engineer in our business unit Marine. As part of the Project Engineering team you will work closely with Sales and Product Management to define and develop customer tailored solutions, and then be the one responsible for the complete project execution, from receiving the order until commissioning on the vessel has been completed. The role will give the possibility to both develop general skills as well as becoming an expert of specific areas.
For success in this position we believe you have an MSc or BSc in preferably Mechanical, Marine or Electrical Engineering, and strong skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. You are very comfortable working in MS Office and if you have experience of using CAD tools it is a plus. Experience of leading customer projects is considered a strong merit.
As the position has a wide range of internal and external stakeholders we believe that you enjoy collaboration and have great communication skills. End-user experience, high quality, developing new solutions and curiosity drives you. Planning and co-ordination comes naturally, and you manage to prioritize also under tough conditions.
