Within our business line Services we offer service for energy production and chemical recovery. The type of plants we serve includes recovery boilers with surrounding equipment, heat and power plants, gasifiers and other combustion and pressure part equipment. Our service offering range from large upgrade projects and field service to spare parts, support products and performance agreements.
We are now looking for a Product Engineer for our Smelt Spouts to further strengthen our Support Products team in the Services Business Line to work with development and maintain our products. The team is responsible for developing products and support our organization globally.
As Product Engineer you will work together with and support our regions both with providing technical expertise as well as being a project engineer.
Your main tasks are to:
• Act as product specialist
• Standardize and develop technical solutions
• Support areas in sales and projects
• Participate in global product teams discussion and solving technical issues
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as drawings and specifications, for example
• Projects execution by define project scope and interface for product
• Support/manage customer and R&D projects
Provide site support during installations, such as instructing technicians, and train operators
As a Product engineer you need to keep a global view of the product and collect and share information from all our areas.
Requirements:
We see that you have a Master or Bachelor in mechanical or chemistry engineering or in a related field. After your exam you have probably gained at least 3 years of experience, preferably within the pulp and paper-, energy- or process industry.
You are skilled in using 3D and 2D design software such as Solid Works and AutoCad. If you also have an understanding of simulations such as FEM and CFD it is valuable.
To be successful in this role we see that you enjoy working in a global environment having customer contacts on all levels and support sales activities. You are also comfortable working with technically demanding and challenging products.
As a person you are business minded, result oriented, customer focused, innovative and both a team player and self-going.
Furthermore you are a confident communicator, fluent in English (written and spoken) preferably you also master Swedish and/or Finnish or - depending on location- the local language.
As our customers are all over the world, you shall be willing to travel internationally approx. 50 days/year.
Ideally you will be located in Sweden or Finland but we are open for other suggestions.
