hela Sverige We are currently seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join a team focused on the development of PLC software solutions for crane automation systems. This opportunity involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of software components, and it offers a chance to contribute to innovative solutions within the field of automation and control systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain PLC software solutions for crane automation, ensuring high performance, safety, and reliability.
Work collaboratively with teams to integrate software components and optimize systems.
Analyze system specifications and hardware schematics to ensure the alignment of software solutions with project requirements.
Identify potential issues in the system and propose improvements to enhance functionality.
Perform thorough testing and validation of PLC code to ensure it meets quality and industry standards.
Troubleshoot and debug any issues encountered during the testing phase.
Communicate project progress, timelines, and any potential delays to relevant stakeholders.
Required Background:
Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Practical experience with Codesys and C programming, providing a solid foundation for developing efficient and reliable PLC software.
Experience in designing and optimizing algorithms for enhanced system performance and responsiveness.
Strong organizational and structured approach to managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining clear documentation.
Familiarity with PLC Development Tools, specifically those used in crane automation.
Understanding of automatic crane functionality is a plus.
Previous experience in product development is considered an advantage, especially related to the product lifecycle and iterative development processes.
Proficiency in both English and Swedish (professional working level).

Experience with CoDeSys software development
Strong background in Product Development and Algorithm Development
Competence in Change Management and Project Management
Fluent in English and Swedish
