Job Description
From Customer site, your main role consists in managing, supporting and reporting to our headquarters in Belgium and Japan all necessary activities and meetings in order to ensure product development within the expected timing.
1. Follow up in close cooperation with our Customer on project progress
2. Manage & Report main project indicators
3. Support Project Management in preparing and achieving the Automatic Transmission Business Plan through the various project stages.
4. Manage on-site activities such as vehicle testing activities and regular Customer meetings
5. Clarify and represent Customer?s voice and facilitate communication between all parties involved in automatic transmission projects to reach a win-win cooperation by inquiring thoroughly our Customer?s requirements and investigating how they can be satisfied.
Candidate Profile
1. Graduation/Education
• Engineering Degree in Mechanics or Mecatronics
• Fluency in English (read, spoken and written) Swedish is a valuable asset
• Ability to use Microsoft Office
(Assets: Japanese language, Project Management)
2. Experience
• 2 years experience in automotive industry or similar position is an asset.
• Experience in multi-cultural environment (especially with Japan) is an asset
3. Abilities
• You are localized in Gothenburg area (Göteborg) or willing to relocate there

• Stress resistant (i.e. priority minded, synthetic, well organized)
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Passion for automotive industry and interest in our drive-train products
• Systematic, result or solution oriented, problem solver
• Analytic, persevering, rigorous
• Opened to foreign cultures, other disciplines
• Learning by yourself, not reluctant with OJT (on the job training)
