hela Sverige Växjö business unit (Sweden) is the Centre of Excellence within Fläkt Woods for tailor made large axial flow fans. Växjö customers are principally global engineering companies and to a lesser extent end-users active on the heavy duty industries. We are now looking for a Project Design Manager, located in Växjö, Sweden.
Work tasks:
As a manager you are responsible for the Project Design Engineering department. That includes to support the ITO and OTR processes and delivering the agreed R&D projects. You will also be responsible for the site commissioning engineering,
manufacturing testing (spin test) / laboratory. Ensure the products are designed in a safe manner and according to the applicable laws and also ensure the product are designed and tested according to customer specifications and within time.
Qualifications:
You must have a MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. You must also have at least 10 years of work experience in similar industries and 3 years of experience in a similar position. The job requires work experience in an international environment and it is also important that you are fluent in English. It is an advantage if you have experience in warranties and claims.
Växjö business unit is looking for a team player who is active and a hard working leader.
Please note that travels outside Sweden and Europe are approx. 25% of the total working time.
