We are looking for a dedicated/experienced/driven Project Controls Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing/ramping up our execution and contributing to expanding one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job
Be part of the US2 Program team responsible for Controls for the Program and implementation of the factory through to Start of Production. As the Project Controls Manager you will be lead an integrated team and responsible for the overall delivery of Project Controls, including Estimating, Cost Management, Planning and Scheduling, Contractor Control, Project Accounting, Trend and Change Management, Progress Measurement and Evaluation and Project Reporting.
About the team
You will be an integral part of the US2 Project Team and work closely with the Program Director, Project Management, Engineering and Procurement teams to control and administer the full project, including the main EPCm Contractor.
You will manage and support a team of Project Control Engineers, Planners/Schedulers and Clients Owners Representatives to carry out the Project Controls for US2 in the exciting expansion phase on NV Ett.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Management of Project Controls for US2 and support the team in administering during the execution phase.
o Example: Prepare the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work performed as defined with the EPCM and sub-contracts, working with finance to map that to the ERP systems.
Management of Program reporting and supporting the team in administering reporting during the execution phase.
o Example: Monitor schedule progress (actual vs forecast) along with project planners EPCM Contractor & Supplier Controls management and improvements during execution phase.
o Example: validation of contractor Estimate at Completion (forecasts) and Earned Value Analysis
Risk & Opportunity management during execution and supporting management and execution teams with decision making.
o Example: periodic updates of the Program & Project risk and opportunity registers, input into quantitative analysis and support of finance quantitative modelling.
Leadership of the Project Controls Engineer's, (seconded or direct), and working with the Project Controls Director to ensuring standardisation and continuous improvement of the project control practices, as well as knowledge transfer between, and growth amongst, the Project Controls Engineers

Position requirements
BSC/Msc in Science / Engineering or equivalent Solid technical experience in all cost management areas, planning, estimating, pre-contract, post contract and final account.
Minimum of 5 years' experience
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Analytical skills Proficient in MS suite
Passion and enthusiasm for process project Execution, and Commercials.
Bonus points for:
Specific experience of EPCm and EPC contract control.
