Job Description:
Turner & Townsend are seeking a Project Controls Lead (Director role level) to drive the relevant workstreams/ function for a large-scale Industrials, Sciences & Technology Projects.
The ideal candidate is a very experienced and passionate Project Controls Manager who thrives on innovation and process improvement. The successful candidate will have a variety of cross sector experience (construction, tech, engineering, operations and marketing, etc.). Ideally you have experience in data and technology, stakeholder management, strategy development, leadership, change management, continuous improvement, organizational strategy and operating model implementation, program controls and commercial management.
Primary responsibilities include:
Market-facing and Project Controls team building across the Industrial, Sciences and Technology (IS&T) SectorContinual development of project controls strategy and operations.
Implementation of agreed-upon key performance indicators.
Identification and implementation of initiatives, innovation and efficiency opportunities agreed with project controls leadership.
Operational review, revision and (where necessary) implementation of project controls related governance processes.
Support the annual capital and operation expenditure planning processes.
Liaison with Finance, Compliance, Legal, Development Executives, District Leads and other client stakeholders to develop and implement Controls strategies.
Ownership & continued development of Project Controls Processes, Guidelines & Templates.
Develop interactive visualizations and business intelligence reports, including dashboards
Support in maintenance of databases, data model and reporting dashboards.
Implementation of controls-related training.
Develop communications to leadership and partner organizations for Project and Program controls initiatives.
Working closely with various disciplines in project delivery and project controls teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and predictably on time and within budget, and timely and accurate cost and schedule data is obtained to inform data-driven decisions to improve portfolio and program performance.
Ad-hoc duties as required by Project Controls Leadership.

Required qualifications:
Candidate should be skilled in portfolio, program and project management and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Construction industry.
Experience in Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Data Centre projects preferred.
Experience in building and leading high performing teams is essential.
Experience working in a project controls leadership position for a portfolio of construction projects is essential.
Understanding of best practice relating to the delivery of a major construction program is preferred.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required.
Contract administration experience preferred.
Familiarity with portfolio and program management industry best practice.
Some cost engineering and scheduling and planning knowledge would be preferable.
Experience of delivering a combined capex and opex construction portfolio is preferred.
