The main objectives is to control and monitor the Project Schedule, as well as the progress reports issued by the contractors and the PM Team. To review actual spend versus budget provision, by monitoring and recording agreed changes and forecasting the impact of changes to be agreed.
• Ensure that all tasks assigned by the Project Manager are completed on time and within budget.
• Have a full knowledge of the contracts
• Have a full knowledge of the project schedule including logic links and critical path.
• Have a full understanding of the subcontractors schedule and the activities and deliverables.
• Together with the Contract Manager, review the content and impact of changes.
• Prepare Project status reports, look-ahead reports and final close-out report
Qualifications
We expect you to have a relevant university degree within the technical area and that you have 5- 10 years of experience of industrial- or construction projects. We also believe you have experience of working in an international environment, and preferably within the energy/process- industry. Knowledge of cost reporting techniques and project planning software is a plus.
Personality
As a person you are business minded with a structured approach. You have a high level of self-motivation and good social skills. You have excellent networking skills and knowledge of working with teams in an open and communicative way. Deliveries at agreed time are important for you and you can handle many tasks at the same time. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English are a must.
